I've looked for an Bluetooth capable 2D scanner to use with iPhone/iPad apps, and this one does the trick. Works on some PDF417 2D barcodes I couldn't get several others I've tried to read. This one works fine. A little slower than the Zebra USB reader that was the only one I could get to read them before, but also less than 1/6 the price, and has Bluetooth.

-Although I just received this item an hour ago,I purchased it because I was so impressed with the identical one I purchased two months ago. I took it to a trade show, and I have purchased this as a spare in case I want another staff member to have one on their computer. It is especially great while at our stand. I could walk around with it and scan items they wished to purchase.

Bought this scanner shortly after buying another handheld scanner that was wired. I really like this one better. I’m a lefty and the wires can be quite cumbersome, so I love that this is wireless/bluetooth. I also love that it comes with a stand. I haven’t even used any special features yet, and I’m very happy with this purchase.

Purchased this to scan out our backbar products. Nothing too strenuous, but it gets used a lot. Our previous scanner was a corded handheld. This is so much nicer! As others have said, pretty much plug and play right out of the box to our Mac desktops. I emailed the help desk to take advantage of the extended warranty and asked about setting it to an auto mode. They immediately emailed back with a bar code to scan and set it to the desired mode. Now we can simply hold the products up to the scanner, without risking it getting dirty with color or other spilled materials. So far, impressed with the product and the help desk assistance! I'll take that as a promising start.

Received this scanner today. Worked great out of the box, plug-n-play. I had a question about a feature and sent an email to their support team on how the scanner could do a tab rather than a enter using an Excel Spreadsheet. They responded to me is less than 10 minutes with how to do a tab rather than a enter and it worked perfectly. I got to thinking if I needed to scan and tab 3 times and a enter could it be done, sent another email and again within 10 minutes they sent me a custom QR codes to set it up that way. Chris from Tech Support was outstanding. I don't usually leave a review, but the customer service they provided is something I don't see very often, and it was worth mentioning for this product. 10 out 10 rating.

I have 6 of the 9011 scanners at work and we use them non stop throughout the day and they have continued to work excellently for the last 2 years. Twice I have needed a feature on my scanner that I did not know how to set up or if it was even possible, and I contacted their support team. They replied instantly both times and were very helpful. The last request I needed was to be able to set my scanner to only output partial info from a QR code that we use daily and my support email was answered within 5 minutes with the barcodes I needed that configured my scanner for me exactly like I was looking for. Amazing service and super affordable scanners.

I purchased this as a school principal to inventory textbooks, catalog various fixed assets, etc. It has been FLAWLESS in its execution and works 1000x better than the scanner that the school provided me to use. The additional ability to read QR codes has also been helpful since we integrated QR codes into our inventory to auto-populate multiple data fields for Student IDs to track attendance in class and events. This is a great tool, and I highly recommend it! The battery life is insane (you'll never need to worry about it going out on you if you charge it on the provided stand), and the range is great (so I'm not carrying a laptop around at the same time around the room). It can store information internally and be downloaded later. I cannot vouch for this device enough. It has been a GODSEND in helping me streamline multiple facets of my responsibilities.

I will say that this barcode scanner is very attractive and sleek looking. And it does have great reviews. But perhaps it is geared towards more complicated barcodes? Because I just needed a very simple regular barcode scanner. I needed to click this one several times before it would be able to read it. So I ended up returning this.
