Good scanner, but keep it out of the sun. Mine warped from sitting in my bag on a very hot day.

the battery on this scanner lasts a long time in sleep mode. had it for a while and only needed to charge it once so far and is perfect for my needs and is very simple to use

Easy to keep in a pocket and take out when you need to scan bar codes or UPC's. I work as a Filed Engineer for a Cell phone company and this makes taking inventory at a cell site easy.

I wanted a product made in the USA for security IT reasons. When I did some research on this product, all indications pointed to “made in the USA. That being said, once the product arrived made in China markings were all over the box. Deceptive marketing by Amazon with this.

We have been through so many scanners at my warehouse, and we they have all had something about them that the warehouse team doesn't like. This one everyone loves! It is small, light, scans correctly every time, and the wrist strap allows them to easily transition from scanning to pulling, which they like, but I love because it cut's down on wasted time. 10/10 would recommend.

I’m a Cisco voice engineer. Part of my job is migrating phones from unsupported phones to supported phones. I need a light weight easy solution to use with my iPhone to scan MAC address directly into CUCM MAC address field. This device is perfect for doing just that. Enabled the Bluetooth, connected to iPhone and I was almost ready for phone migration. The device defaults settings is scan + enter. I needed scan + tab. The code for setting that function did not come with the provided quick start guide so I contacted support and the response was fast with the code I needed to set the setting for scan+tab. In addition support provided other useful functions that I thought was very considerate and thoughtful. 5 star and highly recommend this item.

This is a great unit. The battery life is supposed to be like 28 hours but since they're only in use for 12 to 14 a day here, they've always held up. They're solidly built, with a USB-C connector on the back, making it a lot more robust than the older USB-Micro or Mini connectors. They have a good construction, and the plastic case is definitely bounce-proof, and the lens is recessed for long life and less damage, but even so, repairing them is easy, since they're completely modular, and I can replace only the part that is broken.

Range is decent, scanning is pretty accurate, it works well overall. Just be careful with the dongle especially if you leave it in a laptop or other environment where any kind of impact may occur as it is quite easy to damage the internal antenna from board stress. Something to note is that it will not charge if the power switch (more accurately the "battery connect" switch) is in the Off position, so if you plug it in and you find it seems to not be charging check that switch first.

I recently bought this scanner to add to our office's growing collection of Scan Avenger scanners. It is a great little unit that works perfectly. Period, end of story. However, if you've ever worked on developing custom documents and forms with barcodes for data entry, etc. you probably know that it can be a little fidgety: which codes to use, and how to program the scanner to read them correctly. This is where Scan Avenger's customer service comes into play for me. THEY ARE AMAZING! They are super prompt and very helpful. Just send them an email and you will receive a helpful response in short order, like within an hour or two. Also, as a developer I appreciate that they offer an "advanced user manual" for download with complete programming instructions, etc. If you are only a basic user, the quick start materials in the box will do. But advanced users will find the expanded manual very useful. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

I am a elementary (primary) public school librarian and this scanner works great so far. The scanner will scan the barcodes we use for the books and is light and easy to use. Thank you for creating a wireless scanner that I can afford to purchase and that is a lightweight scanner with a dongle. The ones provided by my school are heavier. Some are a corded style and others are a wireless style that you have to plug your base into the computer. This will allow me more freedom when I need to move around the school building.

No need to bring a laptop. You can use Excel or a spreadsheet app on your smartphone to scan everything you need without wire. It can read most barcodes that are damaged while other scanner models can't read.

From the first impression, I was very surprised by this barcode scanner. I am surprised by how solid this little bar code reader is. Very good quality. I like simple things that work easily and understandably. This scanner is one such piece. You can simply start using it quickly. You don't need any special application, just follow the instructions in the description. For me, it was very surprising that I could scan everything with it. I thought he wouldn't be able to do that. So this will come in handy for me as an entrepreneur in the future. We can choose between several storage and scanning methods. What is right for whom for their purposes. Great bar code scanner. Works as described for both traditional barcodes and QR codes. Wireless connection through Bluetooth or included USB dongle. Tested device on Android phone and on MacBook computer and it works just fine. When connecting to Android phone, you want to go into Keyboard Settings and set On-screen Keyboard to be active even when bluetooth keyboard is connected. The reason is that Android OS sees this device as a keyboard (which is what you want), but then you don't have a way to enter information manually unless you allow on-screen keyboard to always show up even when bluetooth keyboard is connected.

Quick and easy to set up. Connects to the network and works seamlessly without issue. It hasn't struggled to read any codes thus far.

This small handheld reader is just excellent. It's easy to use and easy to carry around (on your belt if you want to as it has a lanyard). It connects to its own little USB receiver with no problem and has a good range; I have been routinely using it fully ten feet away from its receiver and it works reliably. Reads QR and bar codes without any problem, comes with good documentation and you can set it to bip or not when it scans something successfully. Battery life is good and really there is nothing about it that I don't like.

It came on time but doesn’t work

Will not hold a charge. Constantly disconnecting from the computer and a total waste of my time and money! Do not buy!!!

This is a cleverly designed gizmo. Modifications and actions controlled by its own set of bar codes provided on plastic cards. And it works great and made well

Really handy little mini bar-code scanner which is much better for taking out and about with you/ on the go and keeping to hand compared to the bigger ones with the same decent features and quality as expected/found in the larger ScanAvenger models. Really happy with it, really easy to set and use and works perfectly with no issues so far so would definitely recommend.

I been having it for about a month used it maybe 10 times now it doesn't work and it's passed the return period

This is just a really good little barcode scanner. How they have come on through the years is amazing. This is top quality scanner and does it’s job perfectly. Which this would be ideal for likes of price checking, stock managing and loads more purposes. Very happy indeed and comes complete with easy to use settings just simply scan them out the book included.

Did not have a linier option when scanning. Not able to scan when you have several bars next to each other.

It’s a palm size wireless barcode scanner. It was like feeling nothing when you hold on hand. It is rechargeable and the battery did last long. It is a plug and go device which need no software at all. I have tried QR code and barcode to scan and it works perfectly well. Useful for inventory taking. I find it very useful and worth buying.

Similarly to the full sized scanner, I am only currently able to test this at home, until next weekend when I return to work. Scans all the common barcodes that you would usually find in on everyday essentials and food products. No exception found at present. This one is fully wireless via bluetooth or its own 2.4ghz adapter. Scan resolution time is fast, comfortable to hold in your hand and honestly, works much better than the £150 ones we have in work right now. Again, this will be updated once I have tested it in a professional scenario but for right now, it's done everything as expected with no faults.

This is a wonderful little scanner. It really performs as good as any one I've tried. The pack comes with the palm-sized scanner, Bluetooth dongle, charging lead and instruction sheets. It had a charge already but doesn't take long to fully charge and it seems to last for hundreds of actuations without losing any charge. There's a small slide switch at the back to turn it on and off, and a large button on the top to activate it. There are blue flashing lights and vibration to provide haptic feedback in noisy environments. Scanning is very quick, with an illuminated area plus focus red circle to help aim. It reads barcodes, QR codes, etc., without problem. The instructions have lots of barcodes to scan and change various settings (such as store mode or transmit mode, sound on/off, etc.). Best photocopy them as it's stuck without them. I've been using it to test a POS system extension I'm developing for a retail chain. It's better than some scanners I've been using, that's for sure. I'll also be using it to catalogue my art supplies by printing barcodes for consumables and scanning them as I use them. Great scanner. Easy to set up and the ability to store codes until you're in range of the computer makes it very versatile too.

This is a handheld barcode scanner that comes in a plain box. It's rechargable and good quality. It vibrates for use in noisy environments. You can upload the bar codes to pc instantly. My son wanted this and he's hapoy with it. I think it's a reasonable price too.

This arrives in a small plain brown cardboard box with a sticker on the front to tell you what it is. The box measures approx 17cm x 11.5cm x 4cm. Inside you get the mini scanner, a dongle a cable (USB to USB C) set into a foam cut out cushion with the warranty, instructions & credit card sized/shape printed barcodes to enable various functions. This scanner is teeny compared to other regular handheld ones I have & lightweight enough you can use the included wrist strap to leave it dangling from your wrist between use without it feeling too heavy. It is around 11cm long, about 5cm wide & just over 2cm deep at the widest points (it's all slightly rounded shapes so hard to measure). This is plug & play, it charges easily & seems to work well. There is a tiny switch beside the charging point on the end you need to use to turn it on - if it's on there are blue lights on it & it makes beeping sounds. When you use it there will be more beeps - you have to depress the button on the top just below the blue lights which makes a white light shine out of the scanner end with the red detector area in the middle & when it gets a code in focus it beeps & reads it. The little switch you turn on & off is my only real issue with this. It's so tiny & low profile that if you don't have nails it can be really hard to move it. I was unable to move it with the pads of my fingers even though I really tried, so if you don't have any nails at all this might be more trouble than it's worth.

When I received my new scanner I was super thrilled. Finally I'll be able to cut my scanning time. Except I could not get the scanner to connect via bluetooth to my phone. I read and followed the instructions too many times to count. Instructions were to reach out via email to receive help. I thought "this will probably take days to reach someone" but the response was immediate followed by instructions on how to reset the scanner to factory specs and how to connect via bluetooth to my phone. I was back to super thrilled. I got to use my new scanner that day at work and I have to say what used to take 3.5 hours to complete now takes 1 hour! I highly recommend this scanner and I hope you will be as happy with yours as I am with mine! Thank you ScanAvenger!!
