DONT SPEND EVEN A PENNY on this product absolutely worthless and valueless product in the mark, it has stunning looks and light weight easy setup but after a weeks i have scan issues, accuracy issues and update issues - i strongly recommend Do Nit buy this product

This was a gift for a friend to use in a school library. It will undoubtedly get a lot of use. So far it works fine.

Worked great and then after a few months started beeping multiple times and wouldn't scan anything. Tried resetting multiple times with customer support and still wouldn't work. As if resets and works for 30 mins and then goes back to not working. Already spent many hours with customer support without any resolution.

Great scanner. I had a quick question so I emailed tech support. They responded within an hour with all of the answers to my questions. Impeccable customer service.

Got this item a few days ago, I got stuck trying to generate a QR code so I emailed support. Not only they replied very quickly but pointed me to the solution. Product works very well. Will buy again.

Haven't really used this item for its intended purpose yet of scanning in hundreds of IT hardware serial numbers, but I did set it up for Bluetooth use on my laptop and that seemed pretty straight forward. All the setup settings seemed to be controlled via a pamphlet with heaps of different barcodes for each setting so don't lose the pamphlet. I did a few test scans after connecting to my laptop and they all seemed to work fine. If you want a greater understanding of the settings you will need to download the manual on-line. So far I am happy and I LOVE that it is an Australian designed piece of hardware. Update 21/05/2024 - This is one of the best investments I have made for a scanner. I was paying top dollar for a Zebra scanner in the past that doesnt provide half the functionality of this little gem. The Buletooth has great range allowing for me to leave my laptop sitting on a desk and I can walk around scanning the items without the hassle of carrying my laptop with me everwhere I go. I LOVE the storage function which allows me to go for a wander, scan item details in, and then return to my laptop and automatically upload the data with a simple scan. Not sure of the capacity of the scanner but so far its has held all the data I require.

Habe den Scanner im März 2023 gekauft. War anfänglich Top zufrieden. Hat alle 1-D und 2-D Codes schnell und zuverlässig gelesen. Seit Nov also nach ca. 7 bis 8 Monaten fing es an, das es beim scannen einzelner Codes immer länger dauerte, bis er diese erkannt hat... irgendwann hat er bestimmte (meist kleinere) Codes dann gar nicht mehr erkannt (die der die Monate zuvor blitzschnell erkannt hat)... es tritt nicht bei allen Codes auf... aber es werden so schleichend immer mehr... Ich versuche jetzt mal den Verkäufer zu kontaktieren... mal sehen was dabei rauskommt...

We've only used it once, but we were able to plug in the dongle and scan barcode serial numbers into our Quickbooks document immediately without issues. More later as I can't speak to reliability, battery life, etc. yet.

Like that it’s easy to use/install and cordless. I also like the look of it. Dislike that it will auto-shut to preserve power after a while (so you have to wake it up). Also, it doesn’t read as quickly and well as other scanners I’ve used; it may take a few attempts if the barcode is smaller or a little crinkled. Compatible with Clover POS.

We purchased four of these guns for a retail pack and ship. They scan just about everything right off customers phones, printed barcodes. Super fast input for complex qr codes. However after a few months all four guns have started disconnecting from the PC. Swapping the USB cables fixed the issue.

I bought this a few years ago. Finally able to afford the barcode printer I needed to put those books in without a barcode. After a few errors that ended up being on my part, this is an amazing scanner that does great, even after me having it sitting in a box unused for 2 years. Definitely recommend.

I will say that the only adjustment I made to use it was to turn on the "Sense Mode" so that I could "select" the one bar code that I wanted out of a group of them. I think there was just one instance that I couldn't get it to register the code (was at a bad angle under a mounting bar and really couldn't get a better angle). Otherwise, 0 issues and it scanned well over 100 items the first day we used it.

Really nice product at a very reasonable price. Great customer service. I initially had some set up problem on my end. Tech rep Chris stayed with me until connection with my Librarything.com book Database was resolved. Device is a well made, quality Scanner, looks great and is comfortable to hold. I strongly recommend ScanAvenger as a useful tool.

We just received our second scanner. We use it to check in members in our pickleball facility. Works great! Customer service has been excellent. Highly recommend this product.

Some things it takes a few tries to get it to scan metallic barcodes on some products.

This scanner is simple and effective. It works well. And the support line is more than helpful. I needed to take out the enter function when scanning a barcode, they sent me the qr code, I scanned it, problem solved! Thanks again!

After all further researching with other scanners. This is what I need! No need replacements from older gen scanner brands out there and stop wasting old scanners that doesn’t charge and spend battery replacement. It's the most versatile scanner I could find, does the job perfectly, can even scan a picture on a phone. Strongly recommend

Great product does the job well

We've ordered about a dozen of these scanners, and have had excellent results. We are using a Chrome based shipping app on Windows 10, so I can't speak to POS or other systems. Users have had no complaints on scanning everything from Code 128 to I2of5 barcodes in various states of legibility. They have been reliable, and are used within 10-15 feet of the base. No problems reported operating in high temperatures in warehouse environments. Units are usable throughout a shift without losing a charge. We have had four operating within close range with no interference with each other. Not sure about the limitation on the number of units in proximity. Definitely will be ordering more.

I am thrilled with this scanner. It’s quick, easy to use and very versatile. Does things I didn’t know a scanner could do. I love the option for continuous scanning. I contacted the help desk to see if I could purchase a second dongle and got an instant response. I cannot recommend the support and the scanner highly enough. I’m really pleased I purchased it.

Bought four of these for our library, two of which are working in close proximity. Early days however, they seem to be doing the job perfectly. The people using them had been used to old wired kit, but have picked these up very quickly and more importantly, with no complaints. The two being used close together have experienced no problems of interference or data cross over. They were extremely easy to set up. They also look modern and slick. One little gripe is that the trigger needs to be pressed to reactivate after it goes to sleep. Then another press to scan. I'm pretty sure the sleep settings can be altered so we may get around this. Very happy with this kit and the price.

This thing has a setting where you can make it automatically detect barcodes when you put them in front of the scanner. This is terrific as I don't need to press the button every time. I just place it in the stand and it scans when I put a barcode in front. On top of that the stand automatically charges the unit too so it saves me from remembering I need to charge it. Overall design seems nice and good quality of the materials. Reads the same as our $280 Zebra scanner we have in the other shop.

Avevo acquistato un'altro prodotto del genere di una marca più conosciuta (a mia conoscenza) e sono rimasto veramente deluso quindi ho provato a dare fiducia in questo prodotto e questa azienda. Ne sono rimasto sbalordito e contento ma spiego il perchè in dettagli. Opinione positiva: Lettore vewloce, ergonomico, bello esteticamente (opinione soggettiva), manuale anche in italiano che non è poco. Opinione negativa: Unica nota negativa di questo prodotto è che non si può scegliere di spegnere o accendere la luce bianca, questo è fastidioso in quanto non si riesce a vedere il laser rosso e che nel mio caso avendo codici da leggere piccoli diventa una difficoltà. Ma il top per questo prodotto è l'assistenza in quanto è immediata, veloce, gentile, disponibile e RISOLVE I PROBLEMI a differenza di altri che dopo poco non rispondono più. COMPLIMENTI ALL'ASSISTENZA. P.S.: attenzione vi consiglio di scaricare il manuale completo dal sito del produttore (oppure chiedere all'assistenza) perchè il manuale compreso nella confezione è quello con le principali funzionalità ma non completo. This scanner does it all. Can scan to a computer, can scan through bluetooth to a portable device, can scan to internal memory. and dump the scans in bulk. I also have a wireless 1D barcode scanner that includes it's wireless dongle. Both dongles work at the same time. The two scanners can be used at the same time and do not interfere with each other. Tons of configuration options. Recharges in included stand. Great customer support (thank you Razvan!) It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for.

We've used a range of scanners over the years for various retail businesses. We needed a quality wireless unit for scanning goods out of our warehouse, and it needed to work on Apple devices (laptop, iPad and iPhone). This scanner took all of 30 seconds to set up (basically connecting it to each device via Bluetooth), and we were scanning. We also had a unique issue with a particular Data Matrix code, so emailed them for assistance. In less than an hour, they came back with a custom solution for us in the form of a sequence of barcodes to scan. It couldn't have been easier. I deal with support teams around the world every week, and this is the best support response (speed, relevance, thoroughness) I've experienced in many years. I highly recommend this scanner and the company that sells/supports them.

I wanted to like this more than I did. (I also tried the small handheld one by this same company and it was horrible because the bluetooth would not stay connected) On this one, the Bluetooth seemed to work fine but it never left the computer by about 2 feet. Pros 1. Stayed connected to the bluetooth 2. Is programmable to many different functions 3. Is a true 2d scanner and scans many different barcodes 4. You can adjust the beep sound and it has vibration mode as well Cons 1. It didn't scan small barcodes without trying multiple times 2. It struggled with colored barcodes 3. It was not all that fast when scanning 4. The holder does not adjust, therefore you have to hold the item up to scan further than feels natural 5. When holding scanner, it's shape is a bit awkward

This is a great little unit, with a really long battery life, stays on from 7am to 6pm no problemo. Tech support are super helpful too.

This scanner is well designed from both the form and function aspect. From unboxing to scanning my first set of items things thing was perfect. Switching between settings is a simple scan from the provided cards. I was able to use across multiple devices (2 different computers - Mac/PC, as well as iPhone) without any issues. I immediately put it to use and have been scanning a variety of codes in different contexts: varying screens (glass/matte), various conditions (low/high light), various labels (2D, 1D, License, etc), and at various angles of scan. It works perfectly. I did reach out to support to register my product, and received responses within 2 minutes of sending the email. Support was immediately helpful and responsive. I was more impressed with the support than the actual product.
